Friendly Tour j.d.o.o. for mediation and services and travel agency collects and processes personal data of users of its services, paying special attention to their adequate protection in order to justify and maintain your trust.
Personal data is considered any information relating to you as a natural person, based on which your identity is established or can be established. This Statement provides you with detailed information about why and how Friendly Tour collects and processes your personal data, under what conditions and circumstances, and what rights you have regarding your personal data.
Please read this Statement carefully to familiarize yourself with all relevant information regarding the handling of your personal data and to be fully aware of the rights granted to you under applicable national and European regulations.

Friendly Tour - Depending on the circumstances of the business transaction during which data processing takes place, Friendly Tour may act either as a data controller or a data processor. Friendly Tour handles your data exclusively in accordance with applicable regulations and ensures an appropriate level of protection and security.
Certain personal data are necessary for Friendly Tour in order to provide you with certain services. If for any reason you do not wish to provide your personal data to Friendly Tour, you may refuse, but in that case, Friendly Tour may not be able to provide you with the services you are interested in.

2. WHICH PERSONAL DATA DOES FRIENDLY TOUR COLLECT?

  • Contact details (email address and (mobile) phone number);

Friendly Tour collects your personal data in two basic ways:

  • Indirectly:
    • from sub-agents we cooperate with, or
    • from third parties who contract with us on your behalf for the use of our services (e.g., companies organizing trips for their employees).

4. PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Friendly Tour collects and processes your personal data for various permitted purposes. In certain cases, your personal data are collected with your consent, while in other cases there is a legal or other basis for their collection.
The purposes for which Friendly Tour collects and processes your personal data may include:

  • Concluding and performing a service contract;
  • Informing about products and services of Friendly Tour;
  • Fulfilling legal obligations of Friendly Tour;

For some of the above purposes, Friendly Tour collects and processes your personal data based on your consent.
In certain cases, Friendly Tour collect and process your personal data without your consent if such collection and processing are necessary for:

  • Performing a contract to which you are a party or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract;

Friendly Tour makes special efforts to ensure that your personal data are collected and processed in accordance with the aforementioned purposes. To achieve these purposes and to provide you with the chosen service fully, Friendly Tour may need to make your personal data available to third parties who act as data controllers in relation to your personal data:

  • Bus carriers;
  • Hospitality establishments;
  • Accommodation providers;
  • Other travel or tourist agencies;
  • Insurers;
  •  Banks

To fulfill the stated purposes, Friendly Tour may also make your personal data available to third parties acting as data processors:

  • Other travel or tourist agencies;
  • Companies providing various services to Friendly Tour (e.g., IT companies).

Additionally, Friendly Tour may disclose your personal data to third parties in case of any planned or completed reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, transfer of contracts, transfer or other disposal of any part of Friendly Tour 's business, assets, or shares (including bankruptcy or similar proceedings) or other cases of legal obligation fulfillment.

6. WHERE IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED?

Considering Friendly Tour ’s business activity involving the provision of travel agency services, your personal data will be processed by the entities mentioned in section 5, both within the EU and in countries outside the EU (e.g., when subcontractors from another country are engaged to provide certain services or parts thereof that involve processing personal data).
However, Friendly Tour ensures that these entities are always contractually bound to maintain the confidentiality and security of your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.
According to Opinion No. 7/2010 of the Article 29 Data Protection Working Party, personal data of service users may be transferred to companies operating in countries outside the EU (e.g., another travel or tourist agency acting as a sub-agent; accommodation facility where the service user is staying). However, only personal data necessary to provide the service and processed exclusively for business purposes may be transferred.

7. WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING THE PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA AND HOW TO EXERCISE THEM?

Regarding your personal data collected and processed by Friendly Tour under applicable data protection laws you have the following rights:

  • The right to be informed about which personal data Friendly Tour holds, from whom the data were collected, the purpose of processing, information about data controllers and processors, and the recipients of such data;
  • The right to rectify your personal data to ensure that the data held by Friendly Tour are true, accurate, and up-to-date;
  • The right to request the deletion of your personal data processed by Friendly Tour if the data are no longer necessary for the purposes stated in section 4;
  • The right to restrict the processing of your personal data in cases prescribed by applicable data protection laws;
  • The right to receive your personal data in a structured format to transfer them to another data controller;
  • The right to object to the processing of your personal data by Friendly Tour or to the competent supervisory authority;
  • The right to withdraw consent to the processing of your personal data where such data are processed solely on the basis of your consent.

8. WHEN CAN YOU OBJECT TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA?

You can object at any time to Friendly Tour ’s processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes, after which Friendly Tour will immediately cease processing your data for those purposes.
You can also object to the processing of your data necessary for performing tasks in the public interest, exercising official authority, or for the legitimate interests of Friendly Tour, after which Friendly Tour will no longer process your personal data unless otherwise required by applicable data protection laws.
If you believe your personal data have been violated or your rights infringed, you have the right to contact the competent supervisory authority – the Personal Data Protection Agency at www.azop.hr.

9. HOW LONG DOES FRIENDLY TOUR KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Friendly Tour retains your personal data for a maximum period of two years after the termination of the contractual relationship between you and Friendly Tourdepending on the circumstances of the specific case, unless a longer retention period is prescribed by applicable national or European law. Friendly Tour will not keep your personal data longer than necessary and lawful and will process them solely for the purposes for which the data were collected.
